Archinemapogon yildizae is a moth species belonging to the Tineidae family. It was first described by Ahmet Ömer Koçak in 1981. This species is distributed across most of Europe, and is not found in Ireland, the Benelux countries, the Iberian Peninsula, and most of the Balkan Peninsula. Its native habitat is birch woodlands. The wingspan of adult Archinemapogon yildizae ranges from 14 to 21 millimeters. Adult moths are active between May and July each year. The larvae of this moth feed on bracket fungi from the Fomes or Piptorus genera that grow on birch trees (Betula).
