The spectacled spiderhunter, with the scientific name Arachnothera flavigaster, is a bird species that belongs to the Nectariniidae family. This species is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. It is both the largest spiderhunter and the largest member of the entire sunbird family. The total length of this species is roughly 22 cm (8.7 in), and its body mass ranges from around 38.4 to 49 g (1.35 to 1.73 oz).
