Arachnis picta, commonly known as the painted tiger moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. This species was first formally described by Alpheus Spring Packard in 1864. It is distributed in the Southwestern United States and adjacent border regions of Mexico. The wingspan of adult painted tiger moths measures approximately 50 millimeters. Adult moths are active during the summer season. The larvae of this species feed on various herbaceous plants, including species from the genera Lupinus and Acanthus, as well as radish.
