Appias paulina, commonly known as the yellow albatross, lesser albatross, common albatross, or Christmas Island white, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Pieridae. This species can be found across a range spanning from India to Samoa, with confirmed presence in Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Caledonia, Thailand, and Australia. The wingspan of adult individuals is approximately 50 millimeters. The larvae of Appias paulina feed on three plant species: Drypetes australasica, Drypetes deplanchei, and Alchornea ilicifolia.
