Apogeshna stenialis, commonly called the checkered apogeshna moth, is a species of moth that belongs to the Crambidae family. Its range extends from Maine to Florida in the eastern United States, westward to Alabama, Illinois, and Ohio. It can also be found in Mexico (the states of Veracruz and Tabasco), Panama, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. This moth has a wingspan of approximately 17 millimeters. Adult checkered apogeshna moths are active during spring and summer.
