About Apodiphus amygdali (Germar, 1817)

Apodiphus amygdali (Germar, 1817) typically reaches approximately 15 millimetres (0.59 in) in length and around 8 millimetres (0.31 in) in width. Females of this species are slightly larger than males. This species has an oval-shaped body that is convex on the dorsal side, with a blackish brown base color densely covered in yellow ocher spots. The lateral margins of the pronotum are dentate and concave. A short ocher or yellowish longitudinal line runs across the head and pronotum. The connexivum has black and ocher or yellowish spots. Its long legs and antennae range in color from gray-brown to black. This species occurs in Austria, Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, and North Macedonia.
