About Anzoplana trilineata Winsor, 2006
The genus Anzoplana, which contains the species Anzoplana trilineata Winsor, 2006, is a group of land planarians in the tribe Anzoplanini. Members of the genus have small, robust bodies. Their mouth is positioned just behind the midpoint of the body, and their gonopore is located closer to the mouth than to the posterior end of the body. The mesenchymal longitudinal musculature is weak, and does not form clear bundles. It does, however, form a weak ring zone around the intestine and a well-developed subneural plate. The copulatory apparatus has an eversible penis that lacks a papilla, and also has adenodactyls.
