About Antirrhinum tortuosum Bosc ex Vent.
Antirrhinum tortuosum Bosc ex Vent. is a perennial plant. Its purple flowers are 30–35 mm in diameter, arranged in racemes, and it blooms from spring through fall. This species is commonly found growing on limestone rockfaces, walls, and roadsides, and its populations often occupy small, restricted ranges. It is predominantly pollinated by bees, bears fruits, has self-incompatibility, and its germination is temperature-sensitive, with flowers growing contiguous to one another on the raceme.
