Anthrenus festivus Erichson, 1846 is a species of carpet beetle belonging to the family Dermestidae. It is most commonly found in Western Europe, with confirmed populations in Austria, France, Germany, Portugal, Italy (limited to Sardinia and Sicily), Spain (including the Balearic Islands), and Switzerland. The species has also been recorded in Northern Africa (specifically Morocco and Tunisia), and in Israel, and it may possibly be present in Cyprus.
