Anthene lycaenoides, commonly known as the pale ciliate blue, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Lycaenidae. This species has a distribution ranging from Malaya to New Guinea. Its wingspan measures approximately 25 millimetres, or 1 inch. The larvae of Anthene lycaenoides feed on a variety of plant species: Bridelia tomentosa, Rhyssopterys timorensis, Flagellaria indica, Clerodendrum floribundum, Oxera splendida, Cupaniopsis anacardioides, Pongamia pinnata, Caesalpina crista, Senna alata, Cassia fistula, Senna gaudichaudii and Senna surattensis.
