Anthaxia cichorii (Olivier, 1790) adults reach a length of 5 to 6.5 millimetres (0.20 to 0.26 inches). Adult beetles of this species can be found between April and August. Larvae of Anthaxia cichorii feed on Pyrus communis, Malus domestica, Prunus domestica, Ficus carica, and Prunus cerasus. This species occurs across most of Europe, in the East Palearctic ecozone, and in the Near East.
