About Antaeotricha albulella

Antaeotricha albulella, commonly known as the vestal moth, is a species of moth belonging to the family Depressariidae. It was first described by Francis Walker in 1864. This species is found in the United States, with documented records from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia. The wingspan of Antaeotricha albulella is approximately 15 mm. Adult individuals are primarily white, with a small, indistinct ochreous spot at the end of the disc. They also have scattered dark brown scales across their wings.
