About Anoplophora horsfieldii (Hope, 1843)
Anoplophora horsfieldii (Hope, 1843) is a species of beetle that grows to an approximate length of 35 millimeters. Adult individuals have black or dark brown bodies, with large, irregular pale yellow transverse bands across their elytra. They also have pale yellow markings on their head and pronotum, and very long antennae. The main host plants for this species are Camellia sinensis, Celtis sinensis, Quercus glauca, and Ulmus pumila. This species is distributed across Thailand, Vietnam, China, and Taiwan.
