About Anolis mariarum Barbour, 1932

Anolis mariarum, commonly known as the blemished anole, is a species of lizard belonging to the Dactyloidae family. This species is endemic to Colombia, and is specifically found in central northwestern Colombia, within the department of Antioquia. Its preferred natural habitat is forest, at altitudes ranging from 1,300 to 2,900 meters (4,300 to 9,500 feet). It has also been observed living in disturbed areas, including city parks and forest edges. Anolis mariarum is oviparous, meaning it reproduces by laying eggs.
