About Anolis leachii Duméril & Bibron, 1837
Anolis leachii, formally described by Duméril & Bibron in 1837, is a relatively large species of anole. It is native to both main islands of Antigua and Barbuda, an island nation in the Caribbean Lesser Antilles. It has additionally been introduced to Bermuda and Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Its natural habitat is shrubland, but it can also be found in disturbed areas including pastures and urban areas. This species reproduces via oviparity, meaning it lays eggs.
