About Anisophyllea disticha (Jack) Baill.

Anisophyllea disticha (Jack) Baill. grows as a shrub or small tree. It reaches a maximum height of 7 metres (20 ft), with a maximum stem diameter of up to 5 cm (2 in). It has smooth bark. Its fruits are ellipsoid in shape, turn red when ripe, and grow up to 2.5 cm (1 in) long. This species grows naturally in Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, and Borneo. It inhabits forests at altitudes ranging from sea-level up to 1,000 m (3,300 ft).
