Anerastia lotella is a species of snout moth belonging to the genus Anerastia. It was first described by Jacob Hübner in 1813. This moth species is distributed across most of Europe, western Russia, Asia Minor, Iran, western Turkestan, and most of Canada. It has a wingspan ranging from 19 to 27 mm. Adult Anerastia lotella are active in July. The larvae of this species feed on various species in the grass family Poaceae, specifically including Ammophila arenaria, Corynephorus canescens, and Festuca ovina.
