About Amyema bifurcata (Benth.) Tiegh.

Amyema bifurcata (Benth.) Tiegh. has flat leaves. Its inflorescence is an umbel that holds two or more pairs of flowers; the flowers have rusty-colored corollas covered in dense, intertwined hairs. The fruit is globe-shaped, and the bract beneath the fruit becomes enlarged as the fruit develops. In terms of ecology, Amyema bifurcata grows on approximately 22 species of Eucalyptus, five species of Angophora, as well as on Acacia acuminata and Nitraria billardierei.
