About Amyciaea albomaculata (O.Pickard-Cambridge, 1874)
Amyciaea albomaculata is an ant-mimicking crab spider species that belongs to the Thomisidae family, and it is found in Australia. This species is known to mimic the green tree ant, and it hunts green tree ants during dusk and night. The upper side of its abdomen has distinct white spots that form two longitudinal lines. Two large, round black spots are present on the hind section of the dorsal abdomen.
