Amblyolepis is a genus of flowering plants that belongs to the daisy family. This genus was first formally described in 1836. Only one species in the genus is known to science: Amblyolepis setigera DC., commonly called the Huisache daisy. This species is native to Texas in the United States and to northeastern Mexico, specifically the states of Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, and Coahuila.
