About Allium suaveolens Jacq.

Scientific name: Allium suaveolens Jacq. Allium ericetorum is a species of the Allium genus that is widespread across much of southern and central Europe, ranging from Portugal to Ukraine. This plant is a perennial herb that grows from a bulb. Its scape can reach up to 50 cm in height, and is round in cross-section. It produces a hemispherical umbel containing 15–45 bell-shaped white flowers. The stamens of this species are longer than the tepals, and bear brown anthers. Its ovary is green.
