Aliciella subnuda, which has the scientific synonym Gilia subnuda, is commonly called coral gilia or carmine gilia. It is a biennial or perennial plant belonging to the phlox family, Polemoniaceae. This species occurs in the Colorado Plateau and Canyonlands region of the southwestern United States. It grows in warm desert shrub, pinyon juniper woodland, and ponderosa pine forest communities throughout the southwestern United States.
