About Aichryson divaricatum (Aiton) Praeger

This species is typically smooth and glabrous, growing 4 to 30 centimetres (1.6 to 11.8 in) tall, with an overall green coloration. It produces dark green, ascending stems. Its flowers measure 6โ€“10 millimetres (0.24โ€“0.39 in) in diameter, most have 7 petals, and are borne in dense terminal clusters. The petals are 3โ€“5 millimetres (0.12โ€“0.20 in) long, ovate, with a short awn, pale golden yellow, and marked with a central dorsal rib. This species is endemic to Madeira Island and the Desertas Islands. It commonly grows on rocks along levadas, cliffs, walls, and ravines, and is sometimes found growing on tree trunks, at altitudes between 100 and 1,000 metres (330 and 3,280 ft).
