Scientific name: Agrotis graslini Rambur, 1848. This description is taken from Seitz. The forewing is pale ochreous, with veins and a costal streak that are greyish white. The stigmata are distinct. The claviform is dark, narrow at its base, and the pale inner line is angled below it. The orbicular is small, flattened, ochreous with a dark center. The reniform is dark grey with a pale inner edge. The cell is dark. The hindwing is white. This species is restricted to the west coast of France, where its larva is reported to feed on grasses growing in sand-dunes.
