About Agromyza nana Meigen, 1830

Agromyza nana Meigen, 1830 is a species of fly in the family Agromyzidae, found in the Palearctic region. For the adult imago, the interocular space is red, while the first and second antennomeres are also red. The peristoma and palps are black. There are 1 + 3 subequal dorsocentral bristles, and acrostics are arranged in four rows. The legs are black with red knees. The abdomen is black and has lighter pruinosity than the thorax. Adult body length ranges from 1.75 to 2.5 mm. The larva of this species creates leaf mines on Trifolium pratense, Melilotus altissima, and Medicago plants.
