Agonopterix hypericella Hübner, 1816 is a species of moth that belongs to the Depressariidae family. Its distribution ranges from Fennoscandia in the north, south to Italy, Austria and Slovakia, and east from Germany and Switzerland to Russia. Populations have also been recorded in Bulgaria. This moth has a wingspan between 15 and 17 millimeters. Adult moths can be seen in flight from February through September. The larvae of this species feed on plants in the Hypericum genus.
