Agoma is a monotypic moth genus in the family Noctuidae. It was first formally erected by Sergius G. Kiriakoff in 1977. This genus contains only one recognized species: Agoma trimenii, commonly known as Trimen's false tiger. The species was first formally described by Rudolf Felder in 1874, under the scientific name Agoma trimenii Felder, 1874. The species is recorded from most countries in subtropical Africa.
