The body of these beetles is broad, oblong, and slightly flattened, with a basic coloration of shiny, metallic green. This species occurs in South-eastern Asia, with recorded locations including Northern India, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Sulawesi, Flores Island, Komodo Island, and Lombok Island.
