Agathodes musivalis is a species of moth belonging to the Crambidae family. It was first described by Achille Guenée in 1854. This moth can be found in Mayotte, the Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Réunion, Malawi, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mozambique, Somalia, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Larvae of Agathodes musivalis have been observed feeding on Erythrina indica and Erythrina afra, both members of the Fabaceae plant family. Its common name is the painted pearl.
