About Aeolidia filomenae Kienberger, Carmona, Pola, Padula, Gosliner & Cervera, 2016
Aeolidia filomenae, first described by Kienberger, Carmona, Pola, Padula, Gosliner & Cervera in 2016, can be identified by a large number of slightly flattened, hooked cerata covering most of its body. The only area without these cerata is a triangular region stretching from the rhinophores to the middle of the dorsum. A white Y-shaped mark is frequently present on the head, though this mark can be hard to spot in pale individuals. This nudibranch species is distributed along the Atlantic coast of the British Isles and Europe.
