Aegopis verticillus is a species of air-breathing land snail. It is a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk that belongs to Zonitidae, the family of true glass snails. This species was first formally described in 1822 by Lamarck, with the basionym authored by A. Férussac in 1819. It is classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. This species is native to Europe, where it can be found in Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Italy, and the Alps. It has also been introduced to Germany.
