Aechmea tillandsioides (Mart. ex Schult. & Schult.f.) Baker is a species of bromeliad. It is naturally widespread across southern Mexico, Central America, and northern South America, specifically the countries of Colombia, Venezuela, the Guianas, Ecuador, and northern Brazil. The species is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant in many other regions outside its native range. It is cited in Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius' work Flora Brasiliensis.
