About Adiantum diaphanum Blume

Adiantum diaphanum, commonly called the filmy maidenhair fern, is a fern species belonging to the genus Adiantum. This species is native to East Asia and Australasia, ranging from southern Japan in the north southward to New Zealand. The plant reaches a maximum length of 20 cm. It produces very dark green fronds that are covered in bristles. Its confirmed native distribution includes China (specifically Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan, and Jiangxi), Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific islands.
