About Adiantum caudatum L.

Adiantum caudatum, commonly known as walking maidenhair, tailed maidenhair, and trailing maidenhair, is a fern species belonging to the genus Adiantum and the family Pteridaceae. This fern is found in shaded areas of several South and East Asian locations: Bangladesh, Burma, India, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand, China, and Vietnam. For cultivation, Adiantum caudatum can be grown in moist potting soil. It prefers medium light levels and cannot tolerate cool temperatures. When grown in a hanging container, its dangling fronds can be displayed to very good effect.
