Acrophylla titan, commonly called the titan stick insect, is pale brown-grey in color, and individuals can reach a maximum body length of 26 centimetres, or 10 inches. This species can be uniquely identified by its long, wavy cerci. Males and females are easy to distinguish: females are larger, have sharp spines on their legs, and are flightless, while males are smaller and capable of flight.
