Acronicta morula, commonly known as the ochre dagger moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species was first described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote and Coleman Townsend Robinson in 1868. It is distributed across an area ranging from Saskatchewan to Nova Scotia in the north, extending south to Florida and west to Texas. The wingspan of adult ochre dagger moths measures 40 to 50 mm. Adults are active from April to September, producing two or more generations per year, with the exact number depending on location. The larvae of this species feed on the leaves of Ulmus trees, as well as leaves of Tilia, Malus, and Crataegus species.
