About Acrocercops laciniella (Meyrick, 1880)

Acrocercops laciniella, commonly known as the blackbutt leafminer, is a moth species belonging to the family Gracillariidae. Within Australia, this species has been recorded in the states of New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania. It is also found in India. The species was first detected in New Zealand in 1999, and by February 2001, it had established populations in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions, spreading through Eucalyptus nitens plantations.
