Acrobasis demotella, commonly known as the walnut shoot moth, is a moth species in the family Pyralidae. It was first described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote in 1881. This species is distributed in North America, ranging from Ontario in the north, south to North Carolina, and west to Missouri and Michigan. The wingspan of adult Acrobasis demotella measures between 20 and 24 millimeters. The larval stage of this moth feeds on Juglans species, Carya illinoinensis, and other Carya species.
