Acraga coa is a moth species that belongs to the Dalceridae family. Its distribution spans across southern Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Panama. It occupies a wide range of forest habitats, including tropical wet forest, tropical moist forest, tropical premontane wet forest, tropical premontane rain forest, tropical lower montane moist forest, subtropical wet forest, subtropical moist forest, subtropical dry forest, and warm temperate wet forest. For male individuals, forewings measure between 12โ€“18 mm (0.47โ€“0.71 inches) in length, while female forewings range from 19โ€“25 mm (0.75โ€“0.98 inches) in length. Adult Acraga coa can be seen in flight throughout the entire year. The caterpillar larvae of this species feed on the leaves of plants from the Terminalia, Coffea, and Citrus genera.
