Aceria pseudoplatani is an acarine gall-mite that causes the sycamore felt gall. This gall forms on the leaves of sycamores (Acer pseudoplatanus) and Norway maples (Acer platanoides). Sycamore felt galls are quite common. They are widespread across the United Kingdom, and have also been recorded in Poland, Belgium, and Germany.
