Acentrogobius is a genus of gobies that is native to marine, fresh, and brackish waters along the coasts of the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean. One species from this genus, Acentrogobius matsya, is an otolith-based fossil species. It has been found in the Miocene Burdigalian-aged Quilon Formation in southwestern India.
