Acanthodactylus margaritae has a maximum recorded snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 7.1 cm (2.8 in). This species is located in southern Morocco. It lives in a range of desert and semidesert habitats, including stony plains, stable sands, fixed dunes, hard clay with sparse low vegetation, and open argan tree forest. Acanthodactylus margaritae reproduces by laying eggs, meaning it is oviparous.
