Acanthinucella spirata is a species of predatory sea snail. It is a marine gastropod mollusk that belongs to the family Muricidae, which is the family of murex snails, also called rock snails. This species, A. spirata, is found along the West Coast, which is also known as the Pacific Ocean coast, of North America. Records show that this species was exploited by some Native American groups, specifically the Chumash of Central California, around 1000 to 1200 AD.
